My Mary's Wedding

My pretty friend Mary is married.
And her wedding was one of the most beautiful weddings that I have been to.
The pilkington's did everything themselves... flowers, hairpieces, pictures, wedding video.
Needless to say, they are a very talented family, everything was so unique and.. like i said.. beautiful.
I loved it and I love cute Mary and Andrew.

I couldnt get enough of these two. They are so cute. Sammy is Mary's little brother and Penny is her niece. Amy (Mar's sister-in-law) always has Penny dressed darling from head to toe and her and Sam just hung out the whole day. It was sweet.

Lar wanted that that bouquet more than anyone. She took off her heels and got in ready position.. and even took a young girl in red out. Still, it was not meant to be. Chelsea K cought it and was kind enough to give it to little Lar. Very touching.
Im obsessed with Mary's ring.

They had the cutest details. They hand-made those little birds on the tree, and they were all unique. And Mary loves birds. So cute.

And my little Shel belle. We have spent EVERY single New Years Eve together since seventh grade (except this years because I was out of the country...). Somehow we just always end up together. and it was partly her fault we went to zach's friends house a few new years eve's back( it was actually her, lar, and lindsay's fault)... so I blame her as being partly responsible for us meeting. Because I for one was against going to strange boys house after midnight on New Years... But fortunately I am the only logical one because if we hadn't gone I would not have met Zach.

Maybe peer pressure isnt as bad as people say.

LIZ IS BREAKING DOWN: BEWARE

You guys.
I started crying. no, sobbing. in front of my editor today.
I'm officially unstable.

I have also been made aware that I am making everyone around me stressed out, too.
Namely my husband, my mother, my father, Candice, and even my uncle Brad Rock (reporter for the Deseret News) who asked one of my fellow class reporters how I was doing in the class when he met him at a bball game.

Thanks for your concern people, apparently I need it.

My editor basically just told me I need to be in the lab more or I wont do well in the class and my eyes started watering and then he saw that I was crying and I got embarrassed and lost control.
I hope none of you have to see me like that.
Its uncomfortable for all.
He was really nice though.
And now he is going out of his way to help me do well.
So, in a weird, twisted way.. Maybe it was a good thing.
Sorry, editor seth.

I would rather have mono again in the middle of finals week and be taking calculus, chemistry, and humanities. I really would.

On a happier note:
we went paintballing for David's Bday on Saturday and when we got home I noticed that my husband had googled "paintball strategies."
Yes, he really did.
WHY you might ask?
We do not know people, we just dont know.

He also is having a hard time with my instability. arent we all. someone come save him from provo and liz.

another happy note:
my family has 2 asian 16 year olds living with them.
they're very entertaining.
and one of them loves tj
none of us understand this seeing as tj is the least likeable person in our family,
but ian adores him
on friday, he stayed home from his asian activites so he wouldn't miss one second of tj's basketball game.
tj doesn't know what to do with this kind of attention.
poor middle-child-that-came-after-me-so-is-overshadowed... we give you an asian friend to boost your self- esteem.
I wish I had a picture of the asians. i'll work on that.

another thing:
Jess is having her baby soon. and I cant wait.
She's a pretty pregnant lady.

That's all.

And here are some pics that I came across today that made me happy... even though they were from a Christmas party I couldnt go to....

Im With Coco

Conan went out with class last night. And I have to say, I got choked up (maybe more than once). If you haven't watched Conan's last three nights of the tonight show, I recommend you do. Especially his interview with Adam Sandler and all of his final nights show.

Im with Coco- even if he just performs in the 7/11 parking lot.

But I must say, it hurts even worse that we didn't get in to his show back in July. We would have been there three hours early if we only knew that this would happen.

Mafia=the worst in liz

Last night we got together with a few of Zach's friends. As you know from the previous post, I love Zach's friends (and their wives, fiance's and girlfirends even more), and it was a very fun night.

We played the name game.. and my team lost, which I was not too happy about. Zach tells me im a poor sport, i just really dont like losing..

After I took some time to get over that we began playing one of my favorite games. Mafia. Somehow I was mafia three out of the four times we played, and every time i somehow gained quite a few people's trust and following. Mainly my sister-in-law Kelsey's. Poor kelsey would believe me, trust me, defend me, and follow me until i died. After finding out i was mafia and that i had lied to her over and over again with the most innocent and sweet face possible, i dont know if our trust can ever be mended. You should have seen her hurt face, i almost felt bad.. almost.

Nevertheless, you all have been warned. I can lie through my teeth and not feel a thing. this dates back to high school when i became a compulsive liar (my mom told me no one would like me if i lied to them.. good thing i found someone as weird as myself) . When I would meet people (boys) I would never tell them my real name or any real information about myself. it was a weird thing and apparently it became a habit.

When I met zach at a party (i was a freshman in college at this time), I told him my name was Samantha. This confused him because he knew that wasnt my name, but he didnt know what it really was. when he did find out it was liz rock, he thought i was lying about my last name (i dont blame him), we had to verify this with several people before he believed me.

The first time he text me all he said was, "Samantha?"

I liked that. I knew we would get along.

Now, I will tell you, you shouldnt be scared or feel uncertain about this fact i have revealed to you. I cannot lie if it is something that matters. zach, and others who know me, can confirm this. For example...calling in sick for work. i cannot do it for the life of me. so dont worry about that potential or current employers. trust me, i have tried and i am completely incapable.

So, although you may think i am just a crazy person, you can still believe that i am an okay person to be friends with.

Lets play again soon zach's friends. (mainly the wives and caitlin and kaylee:)).

(these pics are from a long time ago, but i didnt have any from last night... brooke, johnny, dane, kaylee, harts and todd and emily are not pictured)
