my brotherinlaw, who shall not be named (jon), said he almost accidentally ruined the surprise by saying something... but he was able to stop himself only because the repercussions of being featured on my blog came to his head. i think his exact words were, "OMG. my.brother.in.law. ruined the surprise!"
