May 28, 2009

This post is dedicated to my friend Jenessa. I promised her I'd show her pics from the wedding because she was in the Dominican Republic. poor ness.

I seriously think I lost my mind that day. I forgot my wedding dress
until we were halfway to the temple {alre
ady running late}, I lost my debit card {found 2 weeks later after I had ordered a new one}, broke my only hairspray bottle, lost my keys {also not found until we got back from our honeymoon}, and I probably lost my cell phone every ten minutes during our wedding and honeymoon. My husband can attest to these things, he was also convinced i was losing my mind. Luckily I remembered to say yes {Oh wait I said I do. That's right people. It's ok, it still counts... take it up with Brother Doane}.

We had the reception in our dear friends, Sue and Steve Harkness', beautiful backyard. and, despite my shortcomings, it was a perfect day.

Zach's friends played at our wedding. They did so good and everyone loved having them there. One of Sue's neighbors came down to the reception just to sit and listen to the band. {I think that's sweet, and a nice compliment to them}. They not only played all of Zach's requests, they also played my girl Kelly Clarkson's 'My Life Would Suck Without You' for our special day {maybe I listen to her new CD everytime I get in my car, and maybe I have for the past four months}... They were troopers. We love these guys.

My cute cousin Lucy. We love our red hair in the Knight fam.

This is for you, Conan

Zach and Alex's latest feature film.

video

For those of you who dont know, Conan is blowing up a car on his show and giving the winner a brand new Lexus. So, of course, my husband started writing up a script and quickly got his brother, Alex, involved. These two are dedicated to the cause.

I know Conan feels bad for not letting us go to his show last month while we were in L.A., so I think he is going to give us the Lexus to make up for it..

We have a good chance of winning. Wish us luck.

Welcome Home, Drewby

This is my friend Drew.

We've been celestial circle dwellers/siblings {at heart} for a very long time.

He has nice, white teeth.

We're glad he's home.

Especially Zach.

Drop it like it's hot.

Before this significant moment in history goes unnoticed by the blogging world, I must post it.

This is Snoop Dogg. {not the big one, the little one}.

This is no ordinary picture of snoop though, this is a picture that I TOOK of him in the LA airport. That's right people, me, zach, my mother, and my little brother did become best friends with snoop on our dreaded layover in LA. that layover paid off.

I will give credit to my husband for spotting him out, or should I say spotting out his enormous body guards; nonetheless, I would have walked right past the king of rap if my husband had not pointed him out.

He probably regretted it right after he told me I was walking past THE snoop doggy dog, because I instinctively pulled out my camera.

And maybe followed him around for the next twenty minutes.

Who would have known that Snoop dogg, or snoop diz as those who know him refer to him as, ate at McDonalds?

Well now you know.

us...

I sometimes have a little {maybe a lot} of time on my hands at work. My cute husband suggested that I start a blog. I dont know what made him think of it, but here I am, at work, blogging.

We got married a few months ago and now we are living in provo. All {well, most} of our friends live in slc, so its just us two. We're going to need to go out of our comfort zone and make a friend or two if we're going to be in this city for a while. I sometimes make him knock on our neighbors door and ask them questions, maybe one day we'll ask them to go out for ice cream with us..maybe.

This little blog will document some of the things in our life we want to remember, like when we lived in provo and only had each other.. and zach's xbox.

Enjoy!
